My passion for helping others began at home. I was blessed to grow up in a loving Christian family where the value of generosity was deeply ingrained in me. My parents regularly emphasized the Golden Rule from Matthew 7:12—“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”—and exemplified it through their actions. With servant-hearted spirits, they were actively involved in church, missions, Boy Scouts, and 4-H, instilling in both my brother and me a deep commitment to helping others. The teachings of Philippians 2:3-4—“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves…”—became guiding principles in my life. From an early age, I developed a true servant’s heart, and over time I found myself giving back to the very organizations and communities that shaped me. My grandfather worked in the financial industry, guiding families through retirement and helping them prepare for the future with confidence and dignity. I admired the trust and peace of mind he brought to those he served, and his example inspired me to follow in his footsteps in 2001.
